WASA is proud to host the first, all-inclusive adaptive sports event at Marquette University’s new Wellness + Helfaer Recreation Center. This inaugural Adaptive Sports Try-It will bring youth and adults with disabilities, families, supporters, Marquette students and athletes, and the broader Milwaukee community together to experience adaptive athletics firsthand.

Participants with ALL abilities are invited to take the court and try four exciting wheelchair sports: Basketball, Lacrosse, Rugby, and Pickleball. Whether you are a current athlete or trying adaptive sports for the first time, this event offers a welcoming space to learn, play, and connect. Let’s ROLL!

Marquette’s campus provides a powerful platform to showcase adaptive sports to new audiences while highlighting the university’s state-of-the-art recreation facility. We welcome students, faculty and community members alike! The Try-It will celebrate health, community inclusion, and belonging.
