GAME ON: WASA’s 1st Adaptive Sports Camp (2026)
Game On is a two-day adaptive sports experience for youth between the ages of 6 and 21 years who have a primary physical impairment and are independent in their daily living skills. Family and friends are also welcome to participate in this camp as well.
Campers will have the opportunity to try a variety of adaptive sports and recreational activities in a fun, supportive environment. Sports may include wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby, wheelchair lacrosse, wheelchair football, sled hockey, adaptive boxing, pickleball/tennis, adaptive yoga, and exciting camp games.
The camp is designed to introduce athletes to adaptive sports, explore new sports, or build upon the skills they have developed in sports they already participate in. Through sport, athletes will gain confidence, improve physical fitness, develop friendships, and connect with the adaptive sports community. Participants will learn new skills, challenge themselves, and discover opportunities to stay active year-round.
Our camp counselors are WASA adult athletes, including National Champions and Paralympians, who are excited to share their skills, experiences, and passion for adaptive sports with the next generation of athletes.
Whether you're brand new to adaptive sports or an experienced athlete looking to expand your skills, Game On offers an exciting opportunity to learn, play, and compete.
